From freedom fighter, to social reformer, occultist, and benefactor of humanity; very few have left such an impactful legacy upon the world as Annie Besant (second International President of the Theosophical Society). We will detail her extraordinary life, international work, and share some of the sacred teachings that she promoted.

Theosophy and Ancient Mystery Traditions

Truth and Wisdom are timeless. When we explore beyond the outer forms into the realms of esotericism and mysticism, we discover that many belief systems share key elements. In modern times, this Golden Thread has been variously known as the Prisca Theologia and Perennial Philosophy. In this presentation, we will follow this thread through the ancient initiatic mystery schools, Pythagoreanism, Neoplatonism, the Western Mysteries, Eastern religions, and today’s Theosophy (Theo-Sophia).
